Counseling 奖学金
Awards up to 80 masters-level minority fellows each year and is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health 服务 Administration. The program seeks to improve mental health resources and availability of Marriage and Family Therapists to underserved minority populations.
Supports students pursuing their master’s in mental health services. The fellowship specifically targets those who are training to serve transition age youth (ages 16–25) as well as their families.
The Behavioral Health Academic Scholarship is funded by the American Addiction Centers and is awarded to students in social work, 心理学, 护理, 咨询, marriage and family therapy and substance abuse programs.
The ACA Tomorrow’s Counselor Awards is technically not a scholarship, but a yearly award for students preparing for 咨询 careers with excellent academic standing.
The Nancy Howell Scholarship is awarded to two graduate students each year: one pursuing a master’s and one pursuing a doctoral degree in 咨询. Students must demonstrate leadership potential as future counselors.
This scholarship supports students pursuing a master’s in 咨询, 心理学, mental health 咨询, and clinical 心理学. The scholarship is awarded to one recipient each year.
California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists Educational Foundation offers several scholarships for members of CAMFT.
Annual scholarship awards are awarded to those majoring in 心理学 and who seek a career in relationship 咨询 or a related field. Applicants are selected based on academic achievement and a 500–900-word essay.
The National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program will provide funds to participants to repay their outstanding qualifying educational loans. Participants are eligible post-degree completion and will work at an NHSC-approved site providing primary health care services to communities in need.
